For individuals and teams
PerUnit is the Swiss counselling institute that creates and conducts online counselling services. These services are available to all interested individuals, institutions and companies. Individuals and teams are accompanied by supervisors, moderators, mediators or coaches according to their needs and depending on the subject areas.
The counselling concept of PerUnit is based on the holistic perception of situations in which those seeking advice find themselves and want to find themselves. Counsellors are oriented towards the desired change that the learning process should bring about (performance orientation), accordingly they point out the situationally necessary ability to act (competence orientation) and work towards becoming aware of the resources that are needed and not needed (resource orientation).
The counselling goals are agreed individually within the thematic areas. Guidance seekers are accompanied through the guidance process to the guidance goals professionally, asynchronously and synchronously online. Counselling takes place in individual settings and in groups/teams. The optimal team size is standard 6 persons.
The topics are divided into counselling sequences and structured in a building-up manner, taking into account the practice-oriented logic of the topic dependencies. This means that counselling sequence 1 (BS1) must be marked as completed in order to move on to the next counselling sequence. Otherwise, important basic information is missing in order to be able to understand contexts. The completion of counselling sequences does not necessarily require the processing of the content, because the counselling seekers themselves determine to what extent the content is useful or not. The retrieval of prior knowledge is thus ensured on an individual basis.
Our counselling concept is based on constructivism. There is no right or wrong. The counselling goals are only bindingly agreed on the desired benefit or desired effect of the counselling seekers in the area of the counselling goals. In order for the success of the counselling to be measurable on the part of the counselling seekers, a self-assessment of the situation takes place in every counselling sequence before the start of the topic. If necessary, the guidance counsellor will conduct an external assessment so that the need for problem-solving support can be jointly defined.
Further development of the counselling content and counselling sequences takes place annually with an update or upgrade. Further development inputs are continuously collected and evaluated by all persons involved via the counselling evaluation, feedback from clients and counsellors etc.). Any errors discovered are continuously corrected, while new ideas are initially incorporated into the development process.
